A young Parisian woman captured in all her 1920's flapper finery in a 1925 fashion photoshoot. Now with added AI Colorization and sound

Part of a series of film fragments from a 1920's fashion photo-shoot in Paris where a young French woman models jewelry, necklaces and makeup compacts. Her bobbed hair and dress is typical of the mid 1920's. The feather boa and accessories were the epitome of the 1920s flapper. A lovely glimpse of the past.

We uploaded this some years back but now here is an AI restored and frame interpolated version which is much more immersive.

AI Enhancement process

1. Removed noise artifacts.
2. Increased frame interpolation from 18 fps to 60 fps
3. Increased resolution to 4K
4. Added color using Deoldify.
5. Created ambient soundtrack.

Loved this! What a REAL 1920s "flapper" looked like as opposed to modern ideas about what we think they looked like based on 1950s movies that were set in the 20s -- form-fitting short dresses with ubiquitous fringe and really heavy makeup... not so much.

I love to see the world that I would/could have lived in around a hundred years ago and these videos really give you the best possible experience of seeing this age of existence. Absolutely fantastic 👏

My grandparents were married in 1925 and lived into the 1980s and 1990s so these people lived not all that long ago. By the way, I have my grandmothers flapper-style wedding dress!

I still think that alongside it you should also post a video of how it looked originally! I know a lot of people would love that including me!

How strange is it, we live in an age of digital ghosts? These voices haven't reached ears possibly since their death, and yet now here they are daily! It's a real version of seeing the dead come back. Their voices, their movements. Crazy they really are frozen in time. All these facebooks and youtubes and accounts will soon be similar. People never REALLY die now. It's some insane science fiction shit, and yet it's technically real. Pretty awesome.

I knew about the signature reversible necklace, I never knew about the bracelets. I love the fashion and accessories of that era. Classic

it amazes me how every generation likes to take credit for their fashion sense being unique to their Era as if they were the first....its so hot to truly see the origin of ultra chic fashion style and sophistication

The first thing I think of when I watch these old videos is how dead all these people are. They had worries, hopes and aspirations, and they are now all gone. The passage of time is a terrifying thing.

The slowing of the camera speed sure makes history something you can connect with. Other than a good hair conditioner, she could be a current model.

In his autobiography, Charlie Chaplin complained that films of ballerina Anna Pavlova did not do her justice. He wrote that "her art was now lost". Could you restore her art to life? Consider it a legacy request of Charlie Chaplin.

Never saw pearls designed in that style. Interesting. Wonder why they never made a comeback.
