How do you know if your food is Genetically Modified (GMO), produced with chemicals or Organic? It's actually easier than you think. Just by reading and understanding the number printed on the fruit and vegetable sticker (PLU Code), you will know how your fruit or veggie was grown.

In this video, I will explain to you how to read the PLU stickers on you foods to be able to know within 2 seconds how your food was grown!

Many fresh produce items have no labels in the store. Cucumbers, tomatoes, squash, green beans, cabbage, celery, etc. may all be without any labels at all, they are just there. Stores, when they get inspected, should have to put the codes on the price tag or somewhere on the display so consumers know what they are buying. But they don't, and maybe that's the point. These days, buying anything, fresh, frozen, packaged etc. is like walking through a mine field. Now, with the new coating on fresh produce called Apeel that has come out that cannot be washed off, we have even more to be concerned about. I understand that this coating is also on some organic apples. That is what I heard on a video this morning. It is being put on many fresh (and normally peeled) items, but we need to spread the word because apparently the coating does penetrate into the fruit/veg. It is a Bill/Melinda Gates funded product and it has gone around much of the world and been accepted.

It does not matter if the produce has thick or thin skin when systemic pesticides are applied, they are absorbed by the whole plant and washing them or removing the fruit/veg skin will not take them away.

My dad was an organic farm apple orchardist. Organic does not mean chemical free either, they are lower in pesticides and chemicals, but not free. They cannot grow apples without them.

APEEL is a coteing that is being used on food to make it last longer and they say it is plant based and does not wash off of foods and full of chemicals.

Oh and now there is a coating the FDA approved but I don't remember the name. It soaks all the way through and usually has a shiny appearance. It is something they allow even on organic produce to keep it from rotting. It is applied post harvest like in the processing factory. Maybe you can look into it and give us the details of it in depth. ty for your video.
