Love is the greatest thing in the universe. The phenomenon commonly referred to as "falling in love" -- or more accurately, "infatuation" -- sucks. We've been taught that this flood of serotonin means that we've found "the one" and should do whatever it takes to hang on to this person. As all of us (and the divorce rate) can attest to though, this rational leads to substantial suffering.

Is there a better way? Nick Sparks attempts to answer this question so that you can avoid the pain of another failed relationship and build the lifelong partnership that we all deserve.
