Are these the best Film Cameras?? (…not really)

I don't like point and shoots, until of course I do. This video made me really appreciate point and shoots until the end when I remembered how dangerous they can be.

I think we all have a few point and shoot cameras stashed away… yeah, I’ve got 4 that I can think of right off the bat.

I just found two point & shoot cameras hiding in cases this morning, loaded with film from who knows how long ago.. a Pentax and a Minolta. I put batteries in them and they both came alive and work just fine. I never liked or specifically wanted point & shoots, but after stumbling on 5 or 6 of them now, I’m amazed at their longevity.

For the Nikon, in order to activate the flash I think you have to cover the sensor above the lens with your hand

The very first Nikon "Point & Shoot" camera from back in the mid nineties, was a great good camera. It was cheap and took great photos, then the discontinued it and replaced it with the one you have in the video. It was a little complicated and had a few mechanical problems, like the film rewind knocked out, so the film is stuck in it and no way to remove it.

Complains about 'fun' printed on the camera.... plays with camera.... ends up having fun. Those engineers over at Nikon might have been onto something don't you think? ;)
