I think it's also based on luck, hashtags, types of videos (duration, quotes etc.) or maybe a mix of all of it. I have startet the TikTok copycat challenge also and have uploaded for 3 days now. I have 37 likes, 0 followers, but by first video gained 0 views, my second gained 605 views and my 3rd video gained 596 views, so in total around 1200 views on 3 videos and my TikTok is brand new, never been on the app before. So I'm looking forward to see after a month or two. It might work out for some and for others it's just not.
