Thanks to Chris, boiled it down to the essentials. Another great webinar from Hasselblad.

I've just watched this because I have a friend who has the X1D II and I have questioned why the images look somewhat processed with high contrast and saturated colours (quite digital) and not the analogue film-like image quality that you suggest should be the case?. I use the Pentax 645z which certainly does have this look by comparison so could you perhaps advise why this might be? It's my guess that it may be a result of using Adobe software over Phocus?

Excellent discussion of color management, but I'm puzzled how an hour long talk on color could avoid the subject of white balance? Is white balance in the Hasselblad camera system covered in another video/webinar?

Excellent - many thanks - the default colour space for TIFF output is Adobe RGB, but their is also the selection to export using ProPhoto RGB AND given the choice of TIFF and TIFF-16 -- Why (other than file size) would one not choose to export to an editor (Lr/PS) in TIFF-16 with ProPhoto colour space and make the decision later which colour space to select based on the ultimate use/reproduction of the final image. I had to create these profiles.

This is all very well but does anyone at Hass know when the grip for the 907X is coming out? I have nowhere to mount my Broncolor flash transmitter (which for some odd reason has to be Nikon!!). Aslo why does the XCD 45p not come with a hood - what should I use instead? Any news on Ext Tubes? Supporting not complaining - love our Hasses.

Great video. Very informative. I love Phocus. Yes, I find that I can get the most info out of my raw file in Phocus than in Adobe.

Very nice webinar...very well explained! Now, if Hasselblad could accelerate production of the 907X / CFVII 50C ( regular version) and deliver to major dealers here in the US, I could be already working within the system...so, hurry up - will you 😃

Will there be loss of image quality if we convert from 3FR to DNG?

Hasselblad produces fabulous cameras and always has! But many of us have opted for the old 500 series with their magnificent lenses. Like ALL other digital cameras, the new Hasselblads are updated every couple of years, so you essentially have to invest in another $6, 000 to $10, 000 every two years! The technology is NEVER completely mature. With the original film cameras, you could just buy a new emulsion, which cost maybe $5 to $8. Even though film is much more expensive in the long-run, the new purchases don't set you back so much every two years.
