I'm surprised the preview didn't include anything about the weather. It's going to be cold AF in KC this weekend. Miami isn't used to dealing with temperatures in the low teens and below. That's definitely going to be a factor. I love post-season football... can't wait for this game!

The Chiefs may have no receivers at all but the Dolphins struggle in the cold, the Chiefs have a top 3 defense, and more importantly Tua is new to the playoffs.

Very interesting to see who wins! If the dolphins don’t get some of their players back, I find it hard for them to win this game. They would have to rely on the chiefs wide receivers. One thing I forgot to mention in my post is that the chiefs might be dealing with OL issues, so that could affect them. Should be a fun game!

The current forecast for game time is 5° with a wind chill of -9°. If that forces Miami to run more, then it could actually help as the Chief's run defense is the soft spot for that unit. On the flip side, Miami hasn't won a game when the kickoff temp was below freezing in their last 10 attempts. If the forecast holds, this will be the coldest game in Dolphins history. But anything can happen. The Chiefs gotta play in the cold too. This should be a great game to watch Saturday night and see the highlights of Sunday morning. Most of the panel chose KC and even though I think they're correct, I hope that Miami wins anyway. I'm not crazy about either team, but I would like to see some different team colors playing in the playoffs this year! Houston, Cleveland, and Detroit should make things very interesting since the postseason hasn't had a spot for them in quite a while! The Chiefs, Steelers, 49ers, and Cowboys have been primarily, the teams we usually see on a semi-to-regular basis entering the playoffs and it would be great to see each of them having an early exit for a change. But with the Browns facing the Texans, 1 of those teams will be going home early and that's too 😞 bad, but it is what it is! It's great to see them out there though! I used to love watching the Houston Oilers with Earl Campbell and the Cleveland Browns led by Brian Sipe years ago! But those were different people and different teams, still, I hope that this is just the beginning of what's to come. 🤔🙏👉😀even tho the Chiefs are not in peak form I'm still taking the Chiefs because, unlike every other team in the AFC Playoffs, they are the only team with experience on winning a Superbowl majority of the current roster you don't go to 5 straight AFC Championship games and 3 super bowls in the 4 years without being tough plus they have HomeField in very tough weather conditions Didn't think the NFL wanted anyone to see this game, hiding it on Peacock like they are.
If KC WRs can catch the ball, they will win. Another big point in the game is 0-degree weather with strong wind chills. I see it being quite difficult for Miami. -13°F at kick-off time in Kansas City. Should be an interesting game. It will probably be tough but still hoping to see Miami pass the first round of the playoffs, I was gonna be rooting for the Jags but with that unfortunate loss this last weekend that won't be happening until the next football season starts later this year, however with this playoffs I'll be rooting for Miami and Tampa. Now if neither make it to the Super Bowl round then I'll do what I did last year and root for the one I like the most than the other. Wind chills are expected to be -20F through -30F when this game starts tomorrow! I know both teams want that rematch with the Bills next week, but I think the Dolphins honestly got this game this week and it's going to be close. 24-21 Miami Due to the brutal wind chill and -5 degrees in Kansas City... Running the ball is the key to this game... Going with Kansas City to win this game over Miami, 20-17... Tbh I don’t have faith will win but if we do I think will win 25-21 I think with the new additions on defense and our guys on offense being healthy I think we got a shot because well Tua does play well in snow since he did it last year in buffalo. But if he wins us this game he will get extended if not he’s gone. Phins up and GL KC hopes for a good game I just have a feeling Tyreek is gonna have a huge game this Saturday McDaniel has been labeled an offensive genius, and he's just a great guy, but ultimately you have gotta come up big in big games against good teams. 3-11 against playoff teams just doesn't cut it. Looks like to me there needs to be less emphasis on looking for the big play and more on getting first downs and sustaining drives. Frankly, sometimes the play calling looks kind of repetitive in its choice of plays. Also, their lack of any receiving threat at TE looks like it's hurting them by eliminating defenses needed to cover the middle to take away those move-the-chains 5-7yd completions. Also, they need to use Achane more like the 49ers use Debo Samuel, that is as a hybrid RB/WR. That way you get the max of run-pass options with either Mostert or Wilson in the backfield and Achane in the slot, wide, or in the backfield. No D coordinator wants to gameplan against that, with Hill and Waddle also on the field at the same time. Run and pass need to be threats at all times.
