Hilltop Hoops: The Season - Tim Derksen

For senior guard Tim Derksen, the bond between father and son is a precious one. That bond grew as Tim’s father Pat mentored the basketball star at Amphitheater HS, stepping down as head coach to allow Tim the opportunity to shine in his own right. As Derksen looks back on his career as a Don, he reflects on how similar that bond has been between his coaches on the Hilltop, one that has mirrored a familial relationship for the past four years.
