Day in the life of a Phlebotomist

Phlebotomy pros AND cons

What to expect from phlebotomy school

I love being a phlebotomist! Patients are everything to me. June 2023 will be 6 years of phlebotomy work experience. And I love it from day 1! Did it scared me? Absolutely!! (Remember NO PAIN, no gain)

Although patients are usually never happy to see you, as a phlebotomist you might surprise them with your skills. And they will remember you. They might even request you to draw them. Phlebotomy is a very rewarding job because trust me, you will occasionally surprise yourself too.

Is it hard? Absolutely! But guess what? Every day you will suck a little less, and a little less. Until one day you finally get the hang of it, then one day all of the sudden it’s super easy.

Do I like it? No, I absolutely LOVE it 😍

Am a phlebotomist as well where I work at and I scream to get help all the time! Because you don’t leave them alone.
