This is a very famous song from Syria which I learnt from a refugee now living in Germany.
The text means: Syria, my love, come to me! Help me to get back my freedom, my dignity, my identity. You cannot be destroyed by arms and bombs. Do not give in, my love!
This song forms part of my music programme "Ich bin ein Migrant"/ I am a migrant. In the orginal, however, it sounds more powerful of course, due to the more powerful instruments.
