They don't get more exciting than Fernando Tatis Jr. He is must-watch TV every night and tonight was no different as he hit his 10th and 11th homers of the season moving him in front of Mike Trout for the MLB lead.

The fact that Tatis had to apologize for hitting the grand slam is pathetic.

Maybe have your pitchers not get behind 3-0 next time Chris Woodward.

I don’t even watch baseball but this guy just became a new favorite athlete of mine. He damn near had to apologize for embarrassing a MAJOR LEAGUE baseball team. The best of the best. Complaining for getting waxed lol.

I'm a Rockies fan and even I love this guy... how could a baseball fan not?

Fire the coach for not backing him up.

Too bad his coward of a coach threw him under the bus.

So Chris Woodward was crying after the game about Tatis swinging 3-0 on a 7-run lead and Jayce Tingler actually added on to this, saying Tatis missed a take sign and shouldn't have swung. Tatis was basically forced into apologizing after the game for hitting a grand slam. Imagine the frailty of these adults. Here's an idea, Woodward: maybe yell at your pitcher who fell behind 3-0 with the bases loaded and then threw a meatball?

And they wonder why young people don't want to play baseball, a sport featuring adults so fragile you have to intentionally stop trying to win because of some bullshit "unwritten rules" that were conceived when women weren't allowed to vote and there was racial segregation even though the sport is not timed and the other team has every chance to come back until it's over.

Boy were the Rangers salty about that grand slam. Bet you Odor starts throwing some punches tomorrow. Cry me a river. These Rangers get butthurt like nobody's business

Trout held the lead for a solid 3 hours, then Tatis stepped on the field

I would love to thank the Chicago White Sox for welcoming James Shields with open arms in 2016. To be honest I was disappointed when he got traded but looking back, that 2015 free agency was a failure for us. All these years of waiting seems to finally be paying off. By the way White Sox, you didn’t get Yasmani Grandal directly from us, but thank the Padres for making him the player he is today.

He needs to hit 2 grand slams in one inning before his career is over just like his pops!

He is so incredibly fun to watch. And let me just say that the Padres’ announcers are the best in baseball (non-biased; I’m a Mariners fan)
