The Windows Local Disk C cannot be locked because it contains the running OS
You can’t retrieve BitLocker Password with Password ID

If BitLocker Encrypted Drive was locked:
In the command line, you type manage-bde -protectors -get Drive Letter:
You won't see the BitLocker Recovery Key

If BitLocker Encrypted Drive was unlocked:
In the command line, you type manage-bde -protectors -get Drive Letter:
Yon can able to see the BitLocker Recovery Key.

I updated my windows 11 PC after the update bitlocker locked my PC. I went on to Microsoft to get recovery key it said I didn't have any. I called windows, Microsoft and hp they all said basically we can sell you a new PC. This PC is not that old only 6ish months. Please advise. Thank you

I got to "enter the password to unlock this volume:" But it would NOT allow me to enter password. When prompt to turn off bitlocker, it says "The operation cannot be performed because the volume is locked. I'm still stuck
