In this video, you will learn the memory concept of Siemens PLC programming with an example ladder logic problem with a solution.

Solved PLC Example Problem:

When Input-0 and Input-1 are pressed at the same time Output-0 and Output-1 should be in the high state.

When Input-1 and Input-2 are pressed at the same time Output-1 and Output-2 should be in the high state.

When Input-2 and Input-3 are pressed at the same time Output-2 and Output-3 should be in the high state.

When Input-3 and Input-0 are pressed at the same time Output-0 and Output-3 should be in high state. Note: Use holding and interlocking.

first part of the video, ladder logic is wrong. If you look at network 1, it would take only input 2 to turn it off, not input 2 and 3 or input 1 and 2. Vertical connection between 1-2 and 2-3 shouldn't be there. Same applies to network 2, 3 and 4.
