I'm really not sure if Sonic Booms can even kill ya, BUT WAS THAT SERIOUSLY A WING OVERLOAD CRASH? I pulled like 11G for what... a second?

Just for people getting geniuenly angry with me for this, i uploaded it as a bit of a coincidence, as the boom happened as i split lmfao

(Also it was the enemy who sonic boomed, not me)

The wings are much easier to snap if they are overweighted. The Vulcans are the main cause of this accident

doing manuvers where roll and yaw are combined causes f4's to rip VERY easily

I've had a lot of similar incidents with the F-4. Sure, G overload could snap your wing but how is it so easy to put your plane in a position where your wings snap?

That's strange. Couldn't tell if something happened to it since it broke off while its view was behind the rest of the plane

Well the problem I think that happened is that the F-4 isn't able to handle the weight of those external gun pods while pulling hard maneuvers near mach with that much fuel still in the plane. Gotta remember that fighter jets carry thousands of pounds of fuel. Also, that was about three seconds of sustained 11G stress with that much weight at over 1100km/h. Just gotta be ever so slightly more gradual with your pulls in that situation with that configuration and you should do fine. Probably fire and then roll out just a little earlier away since your closure speed is so high, which gives you time to be a bit more gradual. That's just my two cents though. :P

I dunno if the phantom was prone to breaking apart in transsonic manouveres. But the mig definitely did. Which is very accurately modeled in war thunder.
