Set after a bank begins implementing a new retail banking strategy, we follow Teresa García Ramírez de Arroyo, a director-general in the Mexican government, who has received some disturbing news.

A whistleblower has emailed Teresa with troubling news about a mistake in the loan default calculations and reserve ratios. The numbers do not add up.

All I can say is I am looking forward to some episode 2 of the book. I had to check twice to be sure I had gotten to the end. In my mind, it couldn't have ended. Well done Kris! It was captivating for me.

Thanks Michael and FC, this is a novel concept - reading a book and also developing deep critical thinking, a great example of integrated learning, great stuff!

Glad to hear a description of what the new book is about, straight from the horse's mouth.

In general, how much can the everyday thinking of a hired consultant reasonably be devoted to "prevention" (a great idea!) instead of post-hoc problem solving?

Great video. I look forward to reading the book which I’ve purchased today.

I’m sure I’ll enjoy it as much as your other book which is great as well. I agree ... sadly people aren’t really recognised for avoiding problems, only solving them.
