I never got this movie when i was younger, but now i recognise it’s true genius. It takes satire elements of film, rom coms and the “Austen” culture, as well as encoperating themes, all into an entertaining and unique movie - props to that!

I'm so excited about this film. It looks like a great send up of crazy Austen-obsessed fans by making a film within Austen's parameters.

This movie was SO much funnier than I anticipated. It totally slipped under the radar in 2013, but I can see it becoming a cult classic soon. I can’t get over the horse “giving birth.” Or pretty much every single line Jennifer Coolidge delivered.
