I always heard that people don't like mocking birds. I've been imitating them all my life (as best I could) and never knew that's what that bird was.

I love them, and never had a problem sleeping with them close by.

In fact, I'm living on a boat and sleeping out in the open on the deck.

I have one a few feet away that sings me to sleep while the waves gently rock me and the breeze blows.

It's heavenly.😊

There’s a mockingbird near my home that I see almost daily on walks. I have a whistle that I can do that sounds like a bird but no bird in particular. Well when I heard the mocking bird singing his song I decided to show him what I know and I guess he liked it because he picked it up almost instantly and now I hear my own whistle song in the mornings sung by a mockingbird

There's a mockingbird living in a palm tree next to my window and oh my gosh it sings everyday at 5:30am and sometimes at 10:30pm, beautiful bird but sometimes i can't sleep because of it 😂

I found this bird due to the fact there is one that constantly dive bombs any cat or dog in the area. They're absolutely relentless with other birds like crows, sparrows and the like.

I played this vid and the bird came within arm's reach.

there is a mockingbird that lives next to my house and outside my window. I live in the middle of a busy city. Vegas. so there’s not any wildlife around + it’s so dry and hot here. But everyday for the past year there is this mocking bird that lands on my patio and lives in a single tree next to my condo. I see them every day. I started putting out seed from time to time. I love this audio because the Mockingbird responds to it.

I used to work the night shift; would come home at midnight and, once parked, exit the car and occasionally hear a mocking bird calling into the darkness; seeking a safe welcome of morning light. I would stand outside in the driveway and marvel at the beautiful noise this tiny creature created somewhere hidden within the darkness surrounding the both of us. I, too, sought that morning might find the both of us safe and sane. Oh, how Nature can grab us, hug us, hold us, nurture and be with us. If there is a God, then He created the mocking bird as a comfort for those of us lost in the dark and needful of such song to carry us through.
