This video has motivated me to try & restore my fountain myself! I just moved into a townhouse & the fountain is beautiful but so dirty & worst of all the fountain can’t get any power for some reason after years of running but I’m planning on restoring it myself & planting succulents in it since I can’t use it as a fountain. Thank you for the inspiration!!

Thanks for the tips! We used a black seal and after 7 years it is starting to peel off. We will go this direction now. Many thanks. Great job.

Fantastic!! I am needing to repair a crack in my huge bowl concrete fountain, and I am SO glad I found Your video!, I will of course need to repaint/stain mine After the repair and I was really Not wanting to have to use bright blue Pool paint 🤦🏼‍♀️ mine is the verde green and black appearance originally. So I will definitely be checking out the stain you used to see if it comes in the color I would like, but if not; I’ll gladly choose your earthy brown stain over pool paint. Fabulous Results!! Instructions and product links are 🏆🥇 in My book, Just Huge Thank You for Sharing this!!

This is exactly what I am trying to accomplish with a very similar fountain suffering from hardwater calcium build up. I would recommend to first use VINEGAR and a wire brush to remove the calcium buildup. This got mine back down to the base concrete. But, my fountain also seems to have had the water leach through the concrete and ultimately caused some of the surface to disolve or chip away. So, I have some stained concrete and some plain concrete showing. I think I can use layering and blotting to help mask those areas.
Thanks for the wonderful video!

I have a leak someplace so will be switching out the hose and doing some pre work before this stage of facelift. I am having trouble finding the supplies. Enjoyed your presentation. We have heavy minerals in water as well.

I would love an update—how did the stain and seal hold up to a couple years of use? We’re about to restain/seal ours because the rampant algae growth keeps eating away the concrete coloring after only a year
