Her story about the first interaction with this woman drastically changed from the first video. She’s trying to make herself look better.

Anna’s story changed when she got negative feedback. She’s lying in all subsequent videos after the first one. Her first impression in her own words was she was having a bad day and the woman was well intentioned. Last two videos the woman was running beside her belittling her. I call bullshit.

I've commented this on a few videos about this situation but--when I was first starting my walking/weight loss journey at 376lbs, I remember once I was out walking the loop at this local civil war battlefield close to my house. I was EXHAUSTED, in a ton of pain, and just struggling to make it back to my car basically. Well, a fit couple on bikes passed me by and the lady yelled "You're doing awesome!" and the guy gave me a thumbs up. I swear it was like...an injection of energy and motivation into my veins! My pain even got better! I didn't take it as patronizing or anything--I just took it as 'someone saw me struggling but TRYING and wanted to motivate me' and it worked.

I feel like you can decide to take things poorly or you can decide to take them in the spirit in which they were most likely intended.

She really thinks she’s awesome and cutesy but just comes across as bitter

Anna lives her entire life obsessed with her own victimhood. I'm fat af too and I wouldn't immediately assume a stranger being polite to me on the same running trail was that person making some snide statement about me being fat, I wouldn't think twice about that woman's over-friendliness in that situation and would forget about the entire interaction by the time I got home. But Anna DOES think about things like that because I think deep down Anna is deeply insecure loves being able to tell stories where she is the victim in something and that's ultimately what this video AND her Target video were about. I say all of this as someone who used to genuinely love her channel and was subscribed for YEARS, I once really looked up to her.

Her insecurity turned her into a bully towards someone who was nice to her :/

I'm so happy the video where I was hungover and sassy is the one that made it in this video

If you watch the first video of her talking about the encounter, you will notice that she changes the narrative to support her behaviour.

She completely misrepresented the first interaction in this instagram story. In her first instagram story she said that the woman said "good job getting out there". She completely changed her story.

I remember when I was starting running. I had a terrible day where I had just finished a hard 2 mile run walk at 260lbs. I stopped at the edge of the trail to end my run on my Apple Watch and a man said “You know you’d lose weight faster if you were actually running” it crushed me. I went out the next day with a lot of support from my friends because there was nothing in the world I wanted to do less than run. I was defeated but I went. 2 older women rode bikes past me and cheered me and told me I was doing great. That meant the world to me. I would hate to think those women who gave me so much comfort on my hardest day, would be treated like she treated this lady.

She seems so miserable despite her attempts to be this cutesy cheery energy. I'm loving ANY encouragement or motivation people want to give me. Especially strangers! How awesome for someone WHO DOES NOT KNOW YOU to take time from their life to share positive intention in yours...that makes my heart happy!

Random lady: "Hey! Good job! Keep it up!"
G&L: *HOW D A R E YOU?*

My favorite part of G&L's story is how she doesn't think the trail woman recognized her the second time she saw her. Yeah... probably had her confused with some other very tall, blonde 500 pound woman out on the

She is exactly why ppl hesitate to say something nice to someone, bc there will always be that person to take it in the wrong way 🙄

her "taking off running" is the most unbelievable part about this story.

I feel like glitterandlazers is starting to prove what I and some people already knew, she practices fake positivity and isn't her true self in most of her videos. Eventually, the truth does come out, and between this video and the horrendous target video, we're really starting to get a glimpse of the real Ana. Imo

My dad had alzheimers but was always happy to see people and would always offer words of encouragement. Her reaction would have devastated him, or at least confused and upset him.

I feel bad for the nice lady that was probably just standing there like “what just happened?”

I am so glad you addressed this. You always have such thoughtful, honest and fair feedback.

She loves using therapy jargon. A boundary is a rule you set for yourself, not to police or control other people, like Anna wants to.
