Sheikh Hasina Blames The US For Her Ouster: Reports | Subscribe to Firstpost

Bangladesh's ousted premier Sheikh Hasina has reportedly blamed the US for her ouster. In a message to Bangladeshis, the ousted Prime Minister reportedly said the US attempted to remove her from power. She added that the regime change was followed by her refusal to cede control of Saint Martin's island, which would have allowed the US to "sway over the Bay of Bengal." She said she could have remained in power after surrendering Saint Martin's island. The ousted premier has vowed to return to Bangladesh once the situation improves.
