The like the C--135 tanker the E-3 is a Boeing 707 not a recycle that's how old they are. The E-3 was build in late 70s toward the end of the 707 production line. Most of the C-135s have been re-engined and are still trucking fuel to the skies. I don't know if the UFO was ever refitted. There is a new E-6 built on a 737 that will eventually take over the role.

Question 🙋🏽‍♂️ I thought the USA stopped stationing forces in Saudi Arabia? Is this not what ticked off Bin Laden in the first place? 🤔
