That Savage Gear roach is a good bait, a little fragile at least in the shorter sizes, but it does swim very well and has given some nice catches for me on largemouth and catfish.

Considerint you straight up slapped that pike with it and it didn't care, I'd say no.

Savage Gear makes ok baits, but they're hardly the best.I guess when your fishing for pike, they're ok.

I try using baits like these and I never get a bite. Only thing that works for me is a worm or a spoon.
