Wow, it looks great. You know my wife and I are looking at getting either a Casita or a Scamp. We like our van but think if we go full timing it would be small. We're using your book to help us decide.

Becky, you mentioned Runaway Trailers which I also like. I believe all the runaways have three of their 4 models being 6' wide. The Runaways are bit less expensive, although all camper/trailer manufactures have price increases today, probably due to pandemic issue affecting availability of foreign materials. The runaways have the A/C unit; the Hikers have the rear galley.
For myself, I thought the cabin small was too small until I rewatched Minivan Lees set up on Tristan Higby's Suv Rving. She has a minivan whose box (cargo area) is a bit smaller than the Hiker or Runaway. She lays down her bedding, places a few Sterlite's at the side and one end. During the day she rolls up her bedding and pads and put them on top of her containers, so she has open space during the day. Copying Minivan Lee's design, I can see how the 5x8 or 6x8 campers could work. Thanks for the tour.

It looks roomy when empty but when you put your belongings in.... Also you are used to standing up in your Casita, try renting the little tear drop first to see if you can live in a space you can't stand up in.

Thanks for the tour of these Becky, really cool I think. At the RTR I saw a Runaway that was big enough to stand up in. Great there is an option to rent these. If I'm passing through will check this place out.

Really excited for you!! :)

You'll have more cubic footage in this than I have in my E250 converted & insulated Camper Van. Stay ORGANIZED, & you'll have sufficient space for necessities. When driving on a hot day, or resting at a rest stop, or boondocking overnight I have a 1qt pump-it-up spray bottle which is my air conditioner. Periodically, wet yourself down & you'll stay comfortable in the hotest of days/nights

Nice choice. I love that you've chosen to go one off with your camper choice ! as it dovetails nicely with you Becky ! certainly you are one-of-a-kind ... keep living the dream Becky... I'd love to hear more about your journey to your upgrade and whether you have budgeted for this change up.... Peace and love see you in the LBC

It's funny that YouTube folks living full time in cars is interesting and accepted but a young lady want to live in a tear drop full time; Oh no that can't be done! Go for it. It should be a fun experience trying to make it work for you.

I wonder if they could lift your Casita, replace your axle with a 6000 pound axle, add a 100 gallon fresh and a hundred gallon grey tank for a few thousand? That would be quite the Casita.

Becky, thanks for the info on Hiker Trailers, just watched a video on Runaway trailers. Either one seem like a good option for boondocking

Are you downsizing, or just adding a second unit to your travel life? Disregard...I am looking off to the right of the screen, and see a previous post of yours that is titled "why full-timing in a teardrop appeals to me".. Not sure how I missed that video :) Peace..
