Maya's Music (Microcephaly)

Maya is diagnosed with microcephaly and is considered nonverbal.

While interviewing Maya it was easy to see she is an intelligent young lady with a great understanding of the world around her. .

I think she's beautiful and she has a big brother that's freaking awesome and yes I believe she's probably is a genius I think all kids that are in their mind and can't express themselves vocally they know more than what people think they do I know when my son Mark was nonverbal he knew what he wanted he would express it by making sounds like ba da ba ba ba meant that he wanted McDonald's you just have to learn how to communicate with her correctly
