I Had a subscriber want to know what to expect on an Audi A3 equipped with an aftermarket downpipe & resonator delete! Its a little too raspy and "tin can" sounding in my opinion. I definitely plan to get a BETTER CATBACK in the near future!

Have you every thought about installing a s3 catback with the resonator on your a3? I just did it to mine and it’s much more aggressive

A3 gang Savage panda. Currently I am stage 1 APR, intake, blowoff, turbo muffler, and inlet. Few other small things. I'm going to be going stage 2 soon. However I just purchased a OEM S3 muffler and am getting it fitted it has a much "deeper" tone. I'll post videos after the muffler on stage 1 as well on stage 2. Might be a option for you. I have ready after the DP with S3 muffler it sounds amazing.

So basically DP + resonator delete on the OEM catback system is raspy. Looks like with an aftermarket downpipe, on the A3 platform, the best sounding combination is aftermarket DP + aftermarket catback?

I have a catless DP with the whole OEM catback system. It’s very quiet. I’m trying to find the best sounding combination.

🔥 I wish I went with the Quattro. Unfortunately got the 2016 A3 1.8t. hopefully str8 pipe won't sound bad... 🤔🤔

I also have a 190 tfsi, I wanted to ask you for confirmation if in this video you mounted dowpipe skat and free centre discharge with original cat back ???

I would have deleted the rear muffler and kept the resonator. That would have toned down the raspiness, although it would be louder

i drive a b9 A5 with an ecs downpipe/res delete. Mine isn’t nearly as loud and raspy nor does it pop. Stock cat stock midpipes
