Okay, so I had NO idea about the hotel tax! That's nice! I've also heard the turnstiles say "WELCOME HOME!" when they turn purple, too. I also love the step-sister lipstick marks on your son's face. HYSTERICAL!!

Didn't think of the taxes since dues include some kind of tax, but good point. The parking fees for sure. And fees is the new normal, that oil change for $25 doesn't have the shop or disposal fees. I would rather pay $30 plus taxes, but that isn't how they get people in the door.

Love your videos and full of great information for my family and I as we try and decide on which DVC property to buy into this year. Would love to hear your opinion on Boardwalk vs Beach Club DVC. My Family and I personally love the Yacht Club the most but they don't offer DVC :( We would almost be 100% on beach club however they dont have any DVC with Lake Crescent Views but have all the other stuff we want. Boardwalk is nice also but the outdoor travel to get the refills and it might be a little to busy for us. However they do offer a standard room rate. Any help or opinions you might offer ?

Resort fees really burn me too! Honestly I think they should be illegal. It’s a very deceptive practice. Also, my band does the same things and light up purple, but my husband’s does not! I’m wondering if it will change since we have purchased more points since our last visit.

How reliable is the renting market when renting out your own points? Thinking of buying a contract and want to offset the yearly dues by renting a portion of our points and we're curious what percentage of the time your points get reliably rented out. Thanks!
