I loved Sutton all these seasons but with Richard she made many mistakes, she always put other things before him while he sacrificed many times to be with her. Every time she was egoistic when it came to that relationship 😏 She definitely doesn’t deserve him.

Well I'm glad he divorced her. That relationship was mainly always about Sutton. Richard was the one who always had to compensate. The only thing that Sutton ever did for Richard was letting him go live at another place

Honestly, Richard is too good for her. She can become a stylist in another city, he can't get his work in New York, but he stayed. He wanted kids and she discussed about wanting children with her friends in season 1/2.
Moreover, she cheated on him while they were married. A fight does not give you the freedom to go sleep around.
I really loved this pair the whole show, but idc if they get a divorce. 😕

Sutton has made a lot of mistakes but throwing words like egotistical and selfish is crazy to me. »ohhh Richard has sacrificed so much for their relationship why doesn’t Sutton?!« Richard is more than 10 years older and has had a successful career but she is just starting out. She doesn’t have the luxury to make the same magnitude of sacrifices that he does.

Second point, PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO REALIZE SOMETHING AND CHANGE THEIR MINDS even in a relationship. Especially when you are young. I am almost Sutton‘s age and I am just now realizing that I don’t think motherhood is my future. I am lucky to be realizing this while single.

Lastly, Having children should never be a compromise. If you know you don’t want them or you know you want them, don don’t compromise.

They were good together for the most part in many ways but they had different lives goals. I think maybe if they were closer in age this would have worked out better because Sutton could have enjoyed years of focusing mostly on herself and her career. It could have been a young relationship just starting out in life type of situation and eventually they could have kids and bought a house and so on. Richard is older and could have been with someone who was out of the "in your 20s, just trying to figure life out stage." Sutton was a good person but not ready for all the responsibilities and serious stuff that comes with marriage in my opinion.
