The village battle with Zavala, Shaxx, and Saladin was great. I think Zavala is the only vanguard that doesn't have a decently explained past, so it's cool to see this. I also thought it was cool that Amanda Holliday made a cameo as a kid at the end.

I heard the news. I really am gonna miss him. Lance Reddick was honestly one of my favorite actors. This, John Wick, etc, I always loved it when he popped up. This also hurts a lot cause I’m a Titan main and now I know what it’s like to lose your vanguard Hunters. Rest in peace Lance, for as all of us say, you have become legend. May your light shine bright amongst the stars.

R.I.P. Commander Zavala / Lance Reddick. Your voice and your speeches will be remembered. As a Titan main, I will do my best to protect the last city and act as an additional wall. As a human, I will never forget you.

I played a lot of Destiny 2 when I went through very hard times so I could temporarily hop into a world full of adventures and interesting stories. I was extremely lost in life and desperate. Had nothing and no one to help me. Destiny helped me keep my mental health together.

Now I finally made it through the hard times and working so much I barely find the time to even play any games. I haven't played Destiny for almost half a year now. So losing Zavala hits even harder.

I'm updating the game right now so I can stand by Zavala for a moment in the tower. That way (and I know how weird this may sound) I can say thank you and farewell to a character who helped me feel like "someone" when no one else did.
