Bo Horvat scored twice and Conor Garland scored the game-winner as the Vancouver Canucks spoiled the Seattle Kraken home opener with a 4-2 win.

Love, love, love seeing a brand new NHL crowd cheering on a newfound team. That passion is what I hope will let the Kraken thrive as an expansion franchise, and not fail like some previous expansion teams have (cough cough... the Atlanta Thrashers).

Excellent game for the Canucks! The Kraken really played well in this game, and the Canucks responded with an excellent game...great effort from the captain Bo Horvat, and excellent gwg from Connor Garland!
And also fantastic goaltending from Thatcher Demko!
