That was such a fun game to watch. Great goaltending on both sides. There were a lot of turnovers on both sides which wasn't good but it created an exciting game. Michkov really shined in the 3rd. He wasn't really noticeable until then. I'm not a big fan of the SO, but, seeing how Errson is good at them... I don't mind them as much as I used to. The Flyers broadcast said it best. That this goalies coming from places like Sweden and the like, are better at the SO than US and Canadian goalies because they have them a lot more.

Vancouver had so many chances to win this game. And after letting the previous game get away too. I’d laugh except Edmonton is going to lose to the hawks.

This game was literally the war of the goaltenders. Both were just absurd. Welcome to Vancouver Lankinen.

Also, Canucks have got to improve in shootouts. At least try slapshots.

Canucks played with basically 5 defensemen with Myers being injured 2 minutes into the game. 0-0-2 is not how I expected the season to start for the Canucks, but I guess that’s what’s happening. Lankinen at least proved that he should get the next start.

Flyers deserved that one. If not for the missing Lank, it would have been an ugly regulation loss. One gets the impression Tocchet really has work cut out for him.
