what I think happened: she got pregnant and the dad found out and divorced her, leaving her to take care of a kid all by herself. she became super depressed and I think one day she just couldn’t take it anymore and drowned her kid, she regrets it immediately and she now lives in guilt of what she did. plus, in the end we see her with a halo and some weird scar-looking marks on her neck, so i believe she most likely hung herself because all the weight of her child’s death along with guilt and already having depression. so maybe now she lives her afterlife forever guilty for what shes done?

Mi teoría es que: En las primeras imágenes podemos ver cómo se ve la silueta de un hombre y en unas pocas imágenes después la podemos ver con un bebé en brazos llorando. Pudo haber sido embarazada por la fuerza de ese hombre [que es probablemente lo que sucedió]. Comenzó a culparse por el nacimiento de su hijo de un tipo ... Un embarazo no planeado. Luego comienza a deprimirse y comienza a tomar medicamentos sin parar, hasta el punto en que ya no está cuerda.

Luego comienza a hacer intentos de suicidio como podemos ver en la escena de la inyección donde tiene una mancha rojiza en su brazo [La mancha fue probablemente el agujero que hizo en sí misma cuando se la estaba aplicando] y como ya no podía soportar el peso en ella misma por su hijo y por sus problemas acaba matando a su hijo ahogado ..

Podemos confirmar la muerte con él tendido en la cama, sin vida; Al final podemos ver que el lugar donde estaba al principio era un lugar muy limpio .. Se ensució totalmente [probablemente por años] Y podemos ver que ella tiene un halo amarillo encima de ella .. Y también una marca extraña en su cuello ... Me parece que fue con una cuerda ... O un corte en su cuello ... Probablemente estuvo deambulando por la casa abandonada durante años después de la muerte de su hijo. ;)

Actualización de la teoría: tal vez.. Este corte en la garganta de la niña mayor significa que la niña solo estaba inconsciente DESPUÉS de que intentó suicidarse con una cuerda, o se cortó la garganta al darse cuenta de que era un "Peso" para su madre. (NOTA: ¡Solo una teoría podría no ser cierta! Pero parece tener más sentido cortarle la garganta al niño con esta nueva observación).

(Atualização) -Vi que alguns brasileiros gostariam de ver algum comentário com a teoria de outras pessoas sobre o vídeo, vi alguns brasileiros comentando em meu comentário que eu deveria fazer a versão traduzida em nossa língua, então aqui está) :

Minha teoria é que: Nas primeiras imagens podemos ver como é a silhueta de um homem e em algumas imagens depois podemos vê-la com um bebê nos braços chorando. Ela poderia ter sido engravidada à força por aquele homem [o que provavelmente foi o que aconteceu]. Ela começou a se culpar pelo nascimento do filho de um cara... Uma gravidez não planejada. Ela então começa a ficar deprimida e começa a tomar remédios sem parar, a ponto de não estar mais sã.


Então ela começa a fazer tentativas de suicídio como podemos ver na cena da injeção onde ela tem uma mancha avermelhada no braço [A mancha provavelmente foi o buraco que ela fez em si mesma quando aplicou] e como ela não conseguia mais suportar o peso sobre si mesma pelo filho e por causa dos seus problemas acaba afogando o filho...

Podemos confirmar a morte com ele deitado na cama, sem vida; No final podemos ver que o local onde ela estava no início era um lugar muito limpo.. Ficou totalmente sujo [provavelmente por anos] E podemos ver que ela tem uma auréola amarela acima dela.. E também uma marca estranha no pescoço.. Me parece que foi com uma corda... Ou um corte no pescoço... Ele provavelmente ficou vagando pela casa abandonada por anos após a morte do filho. ;)

Alright, lemme analyze this, from what I picked up, the mother/guardian was suffering from narcotics/substance abuse, and she was taking anti-depressants, but still doing drugs, she would get very VERY bad mood-swings, and abuse the child. The child is has stopped being abused (maybe?), and they suffer from depression, and PTSD.

This reminds me of “Jefty was Five”.
(Spoilers) It was about a boy who was always 5 years old, and you read about it through the POV of someone who grew up with him. You learn to love him despite him never maturing past 5, and the main character is able to experience that past (that never happened) with him. The mom however grows to hate the boy, a constant burden on he shoulders. She ends up drowning him in the bath. Very good read, highly recommend!

okay, since everyone is trying to analyze the video imma do it myself ig-

it seems that she went through a traumatic past (most likely having to do with the father of her son) that ended with her giving birth to a child that either she didn't want or wasn't prepared for. in the beginning, it seems, the mother really tried. she tried to be a good mother for her child. but because of all that was happening, having to raise a child and her horrible past, she soon spiraled into some form of drug addiction and probably carried a few mental issues with her. im thinking that the drug addiction/mental issues really messed her up, and one day, as she was doing a normal task, (that being bathing her child) she lost control and drowned him. when she finally pulled him out of the water, he was dead. then came the self realization that she, as a mother, had killed her own child.

the mother couldn't stop grieving over what she did. so she resorted to the last thing she could think of. take her own life. i've read some other comments and the most likely of a cause of death would hanging herself (the scar hints that) and now she has come back to the bathtub, (after she's died, of course) with more grieving.

I’m not going to lie, when I first saw this animatic, I thought it was about a mentally unstable mom drowning her kid, and the kid’s ghost becomes unable to leave the house! After reading the other theories though, I’m not very sure haha! But what I do know is that the art style and colors are very pretty! I love how they’re able to depict the mood so well

My theory:
So, the beginning is in reverse, as the arrows point backwards. (Edit: I now see they were not pointed backward, but I still believe what I said)
I believe her husband/partner was abusing her, possibly.
She became depressed and took anti-depression pills.
Her and her husband/partner got into a fight, and he left, that only worsened the depression.
It then drove her insane, and she abused her child, which eventually turned into killing him.
She immediately regretted her actions, and attempted to kill herself, multiple times.
I believe she tried to cut her neck, as seen the scar across her neck, and shorter hair.
It’s also possible she succeeded in doing so, and was forced to stay in that bathroom to pay for her awful decision, as seen the melting halo above her head.

I may have missed a couple things, so you may add what you think I missed, in reply’s.
Also, this is *my* theory, so if you don’t believe this one, that’s alright.
