Honored to be on the list with these other great companies, and to be given S tier at that! Thanks for the support!!

I have 2 SP stands for like 13 years and there’re still holding strong

I would add Gibraltar at either A tier or S tier. Amazing stands and hardware, and their kick pedals are super underrated. The stealth rack is also really cool, I have 2 of them.

tbh i do find the temu moongels way better and they last longer, not to mention they can also stick on the reso head of ur drums and have more heat resistant, plus they come in packs of 6 for 2.50 each, plus they also stick on one side so u dont have stick shavings and hair all over ur gels!, they also look great and come in good if not better condition once arriving! i bought like 3 temu drum gels, and thats the price of 1 pack of rtom moon gels.

I think KBrakes are the best solution to prevent bass drum creep, but I can understand people not wanting to replace the feet on their spurs.

Tama Hardware is super sturdy, but I hate their geared tilters, and on a shallow note, their hardware doesn't look very good.

Pearl boom arms are not knurled, which increases the potential for slipping. I don't know what their current cymbal holders/stands are like, but I have some old ones, and they pretty easily slip if you mount a China on one and position the arm to be horizontal and pointing sideways. I love their tilters though.

DW hardware looks nice, but I found them not to be very robust, especially considering how much they weigh (9000 series stands). The options for customization are incredible though. Their pedals are fine, I play old 5000s myself, but the MDD and MCD pedals are way overpriced. They're about as expensive as the Darwin FTW, but they're essentially just 9000 pedals with machined parts, not nearly as good as the FTW.

SPL is mostly not great. Their drums are beginner stuff. But I got 4 of their velocity boom stands on sale for $180 total (I think the 2 pack was $90). They are pretty solid actually. They for sure are not DW9000s, but they are stable with my 19" crash fairly extended out. Plus I could buy 4 of them for about what one mid level stand would cost. I'd place their nice stands somewhere in between the stands that come with entry level kits and mid level stands like the Armory, Road Pro, DW3000. Not as good as those, but a good deal better than the cheap crap that comes with cheap drum sets. They stay in position (don't slip). IDK, it is just a stand. I don't want to spend $150+ when I can spend like $50 and get the same result.
