Southern Mexico is full of unique beauty found nowhere else in the world. During our trip to Southern Mexico, we traveled throughout the Yucatan Peninsula and Chiapas. Gaining a new understanding of the Mayan culture throughout these regions was one of the most special things for us throughout our 3 months there. The ruins and history, coupled with the one-of-a-kind cenotes made Southern Mexico one of our favorite trips ever!
No matter where the journey took us, we always emerged with a fresh understanding and appreciation of the country. Southern Mexico is a unique place, home to natural and historical scenes that can only be uncovered in that one pocket of our beautiful world. Areas we visited included:
