I just finished reading Dionne Warwick's Bio. She reminded me that Dee Dee died in 2008. She talked about Dee Dee's legacy and the work that she did and how UNSUNG her work was. Thank you for being here so that we can refresh and remind ourselves of her legacy to her family and the world.

My most favorite song by Dee Dee.  It's true and sad that she never received the true praise and honor she deserved.  Your true fans will always remember you Dee Dee through your great music - rest in peace you great Empress of Song (Dee Dee died on October 18, 2008).  No wonder Whitney Houston has such a talent - with Aunts like Dee Dee and Dionne (and her mother Cissy) - she also had to have a great voice!

One of the best songs ever, such wonderful lyrics, and Dee Dee is doing them all the justice they deserve. Just imagine how contemporary singers would overdo this - and ruin it all. Respect where it's due.

My  Grade 4  English Teacher made me fell inlove with this song, "she didnt know kept on crying", i use to sing too much in the classroom, and one day she found me singing one song by Randy crawford "Why" and she said am reminding i her of dee dee Warwick, instead of punishing me she then sing the song for me in the classroom openly, and she once invited to me her place to come listen to it, i sang it like knew it before and i was trully crying, She invited me on her wedding day not knowing that i was in the program just to sing the song" She didnt Know kept on crying", was shy but i blew it out and Guess What, she kept on crying whiles i was singing.  its my only and best song that make s me weak ever.

great song by an underrated singer. two of her last known songs were in 1984, Fool of the Year, and You will be my Music. take a listen to these and you can hear the similarities to her younger sister. two great songs only played on jazz stations that year. should have been at least Grammy nominated.
