Grip the dumbbell more firmly and try to turn the dumbbell with the pinky side of your hands outwards as you are pumping up too. Your arms will naturally wanna turn the thumb side of your hand upwards, but you gotta fight that so it actually isolates your biceps. If you just put your hand out with nothing in it, your thumb will be on top and vertical like a thumbs up. With a dumbbell curl you want to try to do the opposite and get the pinky side of your hand to be higher than the thumb side at the peak of your curl. You’ll feel a noticeable difference and get significantly better gains too.
