Hawaii - Kauai - Queen's Bath - Near Death

There is a reason why there are warning signs and a flotation device mounted at the entrance of Queen's Bath. The person in this video did not heed the warnings and proceeded to jump into one of the coves during heavy surf. He was lucky, but he could have suffered serious injury or worse by being thrown into the rock wall or dragged out to sea. I could be completely off base here and he may have done this stunt a thousand times. I guess what I am trying to say is, be careful, know before you jump and if you are going to do something like this be sure you are a good swimmer and rock climber.

Maybe not, but there was a moment where he could of easily been knocked out. As bystanders we were certainly concerned with his safety.
