30MPH DJI AVATA vs 60MPH DJI FPV MOTION CONTROLLER MADNESS! (spoiler...everything goes wrong!)

The DJI Avata is a wolf in sheep's clothing. The DJI FPV is a wolf - period. It's a beast and having it back up in the air for the first time in a while reminded me what a monster it is. Needless to say it wasn't long before everything went wrong!

I wish the fov was fully immersive, like I'm sure some VR goggles are, like not just rectangular screen infront but like the whole screen should be the screen if that makes sense, maybe they'd need a different type of lense on the drone for that?

Aye, Stewart. Yet for my own drone work, I have no use for 60 mph. 30 mph or less for less mess if mishap! Slow for less consequential crashes. Really sorry you had rough going making this video. Thankful for your channel! Best to Alina. 🇺🇸💛🇬🇧

Haha, I can relate to a lot of this. Forgetting gear in a hurry - check, crashing the drone because you're trying to get shots before losing sunlight - check, car breaking down when on location - check. Must be a drone YouTuber curse!

My experience of FPV is like riding a bike: you crash heaps when you start…, and just hope you haven’t broken anything major (or expensive 😅😬).

Also, I really recommend that you remove the centre point when using the motion controller, it honestly makes it so much easier to fly, especially at speeds.

Why have you got a gopro on it? don't you like the camera that's already with the drone itself? Seens pretty pointless buying it if you have to stick a gopro on top of it
