This was our song with my exgirlfriend. And this was our story.

We met in the school. We were classmates, but we really didnt have a chance to know each other better or to say more than a few words.
But luckily, one day, because I was always really talkative during lessons, my teacher of german language moved me to sit next to her (bcs my last classmate I was sitting next to was struggling at this lesson and wasnt paying attention because of me :D).

Thats how we started talking. We immidiately shared the same vibe and humor. Firstly, we became pretty good friends and we started spending time together with other friends, always making deep jokes and laughing together.
Few months after that, we became the best friends and started to hanging out even without other friends. Quite quickly, I totally fell in love with her, and she did with me. Our moments together started to be extremely magical and I couldnt think about anybody else than her. Despite the fact our whole romance escalated pretty quickly, we didnt want to rush it and we waited two more months before we started officialy dating.
We were together almost every single day - first half of the day in the school and the second doing some activities together - picnic, cinema etc. On Saturday, we made a trip or acitivity for the whole day and Sunday was the only day we were working on school and other responsibilities.
Also, every single night, if we werent sleeping together, we would call each other, watch a movie or play a videogame while calling together and fell asleep together during the call.

As you could already guess, she quickly became my whole world, as I became a whole world for her. Everything I was doing, I was doing with her, every vacation without her became boring, every new activity, movie or game that came out and I wanted to try it, I wanted to do only with her. And she felt the same. We became extremely connected to each other and we understood to each other so much. Of course we had our ups and downs, but we both were happy together.
Dont get me wrong, I have a great life and great family and I enjoy it - but being able to share that life with someone, that was the biggest missing piece of my happiness. We had so so many magical and happy moments and memories, all those nights under the stars on a blanket, our trip to Vienna, our drunk dance on my brothers graduation party...

Sadly, our happiness lasted only 4 years, and as much as I dont want to admit it, it was probably mostly my fault. I have never cheated on her or something like that, but we started to fight a lot, mostly because I started to lose respect for her, I was pretty toxic and controlling, I was giving her ultimatums and I always wanted things to be by my way - dont judge me too harsh please, it was my first serious relantionship and as 19-20 years old boy, you still makes a lot of mistakes and stupid decisions.
Of course, there were another factors, we both finished the school and started different universities, we both started to have different idea of a future etc.
After some time, we had a bigger fight and we broke up. I used that oppurtunity to reflect myself and the whole relationship. I finally realized all mistakes I was doing and I really turned my whole life around - I started to working out again and I was hardly working on my personalities as well. During that period (3 months), we were still in touch and even went out few times. I was hoping for showing her my new me and getting our relationship a new start - but sadly, it didnt happen. Despite the fact I really changed, she rushed new relationship during that time with her classmate and eventually moved in with him and cutted off the contact with me, as he is really jealous and she didnt want to lose her relantionship by talking to me (she didnt tell me she was dating someone new). This moment was the hardest and most heartbreaking for me - despite the break up, I still belived its just a phase for us to grow up and eventually get back together, as I just couldnt imagine my life without her.
Despite that, I respected her decision and we said our last goodbyes. After that, I also found new relationship pretty quickly, but it ended up as rebound and failed after few months.

One year passed since our break up and last contact. Despite the fact I am doing extremely well, I have a lot of money, I have finally my dream bike, I travel a lot, I have gotten rid off my bad personalities and many girls are interested in me, I am still not able to fullfil the missing piece I have lost when I lost her.
My other attempts for new relationship failed so far, leaving me even more empty inside.
Even after the whole year and after meeting (and even sleeping) with far more beautiful women, I would still give anything in the world for another chance with her - as she understood me and cared about me like nobody else ever did. Sadly, it is probably never happening. Last news I heard about her from our common friend were, that she has got engaged with that classmate.

I am not sure if anybody will even read my story, but I just had to write it down and share it.
Quite ironic, as I think about it - the memories, which used to make us the happiest, are the ones we are trying to forget the most.
