Just "doing something" because something is better than nothing is a very dangerous way to approach policy, especially when it comes to policing. Forcing officers to split up is going to lead to them becoming more defensive as they have fewer options in tense situations. Running your lights 24/7 is just going to create confusion and cause issues without addressing the actual problem of staffing. Forcing overtime is just plain stupid. If an office is not able and willing to come to work they need to stay home. You are going to make things more dangerous by having tired cops or cops that are worrying about their homelife carrying a badge when they should be home. Even though this is only a "list of suggestions" these are all terrible suggestions.

Plans for KCPD - Continue to allow criminals to do as they please with minimal, if any, repercussions.

I really hope they don't bring back this Pete Mundo guy. I'm all for having diverse political standpoints on this show, but it feels like the only thing he wants to do is yell about progressive policies being "stupid" and push his political agenda at every moment while everyone else is just trying to directly talk about the issues.
