Omnivorous Baby Raccoon Discovers Yummy Chicken Feet

Okay, for any poultry lovers out there this may seem a bit gruesome, but just hum "Circle of Life" and hang in there. One of our jobs is to provide a varied diet for the animals in our care, and chicken feet are a raccoon favorite.

Our little redhead raccoon was a bit unsure what to do with it at first....but for the rest of the day she ran around the enclosure with her favorite feet and fought off any would-be chicken foot thieves.

This raccoon was SO TINY when she came to Harmony. It's so exciting to think that in just a few short months she will be ready for release. We will miss her!
