My favorite comedian/actor! RIP. I had just visited his building from his tv show and had planned to visit his couch at Navy pier for my birthday but the weather was too hot and humid. I’ll visit soon to pay my respects.

I remember going to see the movie "Hell is for heroes" with my brother and seeing Bob Newhart in a small role as an Army clerk. That's when he was beginning to gain widespread popularity.
