I bought a "kambal" from roadside. Shopkeeper was demanding 3200 rs and i bargained a little bit and paid 1600 for that. Same "Kambal" i searched online it was priced 5000. I completely agree with your point that checking the local market is best

Edit: By saying "bargaining a little bit", i meant to say that the shopkeeper was easily convinced for that price. Also, i remember that day, these roadside vendors were mistreated by authorities to clear the road for a political Rally. So, i didn't force him that much as i was the first or maybe second customer of him. And after that he was asked to close his shop by the police.
