i only have One pre-amp tube....so when i have a microphonic problem, i know which one it is.

To prevent microphonics I always keep brand appropriate pencils well away from the preamp section valves.



Everyone else on Ewetube uses a chopstick...

I hate to say it, but just use a modeller or computer and a good 4x12 cab. Valves are just old tech. The only reason to use them these days is nostalgia.
