Of course no player is essential but Mbappe has a 1.13 goal involvement per 90 for France and will probably end up being easily the top World Cup goalscorer in 2 years. I like his chances to get lots of points.

Frattesi is 6.5 mil, will be part of the Italian front 3 and looked very good in friendlies!!

Lunin, Costa (I have 1.5 mil in the bank) - changed my team so many times. Debating Xhaka, is Theo Hernandez out? Trossard? Unsure.

Gundo has got me 10 points being captain. Should I change him later with either Kane, Lukaku, Dumfries etc. What is the safe number of points after which it is risky to change captain?

Any reason baumgartner isn’t getting any attention among the 6.5’s? Started and scored in all of Austria’s last 5 games and they’ve been in incredible form since Rangnick came in. I know the France fixture is tough but he should be considered over Sabitzer for example

With the theory on cheap players better earlier - it’s not really applying to enablers. They are there to enable anyway. It’s more that if you are taking a risky punt you aren’t sure on, eg the 7m Georgian midfielder, ideal if they play early. With the big guns like mbappe and Bruno late. Just feels a better insurance policy

Andy, what you miss regarding cheap players should play early on can be illustrated with the following extreme example:
1) lets say you have 4 enablers all play on day 1-2, and produce 5 pts each. Now it is day 3 and you need to bring in a high value player from your bench like Doku or X. Simons. You will have much more confidence to bring in a high value player to replace one of the enablers.

2) whereas if 4 of your high value players play on day1-2 and bring 5 pts each you are not likely to replace any of them for an enabler like the Georgia mid for 4.5 because the exp pts from the enablers is less than 5 pts. So you lose some flexibility to play your full squad and exploit manual subs.

If we are using the Real Madrid line of thinking. Tomiyasu can be Nacho, if we are winning like are projected to be. Why not have a versatile solid defender who's happy to be on a winning team

Not understanding why limitless gw3 allows you to dodge rotation? Unless your gonna fill up with players from Austria and Turkey etc you will be in same boat as the people not using the chip.

khvicha kvaratskhelia is the real deal. Love that you included him. He’s the heart of the team and Georgia will go for it as they are happy to be there.

Is it worth downgrading Kane and Fernandes to Ronaldo and Saka to free up 1.5m to spend elsewhere?
