Raising corporate taxes does decrease inflation, just not in a direct way.
Higher tax burden -> less corporate growth -> less hiring -> higher unemployment -> lower inflation.

Can you fight inflation without going into recession? Logically, I believe it pretty sound and reasonable to defeat inflation without going into a recession. Within the definition of recession, there are 4 items that you need to deal with and productions seem to be the most difficult item to be solves at the moment.
