Suella Braverman Says Some People Could STILL Claim Asylum After Arriving in UK Illegally

Suella Braverman has told TalkTV that some people will still be able to claim asylum if they arrive illegally in the UK.

The Home Secretary also says an increased number of caseworkers will get through the asylum backlog faster, but can't guarantee they will be dealt with in days.

Speaking to political editor Kate McCann, she added that proposed new immigration measures "are lawful and compliant" with international obligations and that the Government was "running novel and innovative legal arguments."

When questioned about whether there was intention to use ID cards in a clampdown on illegal working and other immigration offences, Braverman said: "I'm personally not in favour of ID cards."

We have millions of immigrants in the uk, when will they say enough is enough we can’t keep bringing people in. Even if they work most are on minimum wage, so get help with housing tax credits, free nhs, free schooling, it’s a massive drain on the economy, that labour and tories keep covering up 🙈

If they made their illegal way to come here so why should they get right to leave in UK. Non of them who have made their way illegal here should be returned back and should apply to make legal route to get here. UK can’t sustain anymore people here because Britain is overly crowded and all the public services are suffering. Why should hard worker taxpayers suffer when there is no control over immigration. Conservatives don’t have much time to fix the biggest problem the country have or they lose the next election.
