In the UFC yes, low tier fighters are getting paid better than low tier boxers but in order to get to the UFC you have to fight in other organizations that aren’t paying fighters much either

The pay for fighters A LOT worse than how Jorge describes it, because fighters don't also get health insurance either and are often toss to the curbside once used up. It gets deeper, but per their contract...they ain't allow to talk about it. 💯

Not only they underpay their fighters but they also overcharge us. 75$ for a ppv event with 2 fights worth watching is ridiculous

So when the UFC was in the red for over two decades and still paying their fighters no one complained. Now bc the UFC is making money some fighters are saying they’re underpaid. Even the underpaid fighters can fight 3 times a year and still make more than most of the population. If you don’t like what you’re being paid then don’t sign up for that job. I don’t ever take a job I’m not getting paid my fair value on. Simple.
