When I was in high school ( 78' ) I followed a Countach out of a wealthy city north of Oklahoma city and just to get him to floor it ... I pulled left and floored my 67' Mustang ! I knew I had no chance but the sound of that Countach ran a chill up my spine and I'll never forget it . What a monster of a car ! PK

Whenever I see a Countach, I always think of *"Cannonball Run"* . It's truly one of the most iconic cars in history. My aunt bought me a poster of one back in the 90's.

I return just to hear this beautiful beast of an engine. No electric car will ever give me chills as her naturally aspirated v12 can . Especially hearing this symphony as she rolls through that gated REAL MANUAL gear box. No turbos, no supercharger, and no VTEC . And thank you for not putting music in the background. I remember when the Countach was first unveiled. Every kid I knew had at least one poster of it! That car was and is the craziest car made!

Glorious sound from an iconic car aside, could we take a second to appreciate that the driver can actually drive: 0:27 the driver recognizes trafic on the left lane an simply takes the foot of the gas - no drama, no high beams no bumper kissing. This is how a gentleman drives a hypercar.

Highway 37! Right near Sonoma Raceway!
I went to college up there, at the Maritime Academy in Vallejo and used to drive my ‘07 GT500 down this road all the time! I tracked the car at Sonoma a few times while going to college there and after a few nights of partying up at Sonoma State, I would turn onto 37 at 2 or 3am and light it up! 1st-5th gear pulls in that car right where you filmed this video! Great video! Always neat to see a familiar area.
