We decided to put some of our popular coolers to the test! Five days in the back of a pickup- which held the most ice at the end? North 40 Outfitters sells a variety of different sizes and types, but for this experiment, we went with three types of hard coolers – the 45 QT Outdoor Revival Hard Cooler, the Yeti Tundra 45 Hard Cooler, and the Cordova 48 QT Basecamp Class Hard Cooler.

Check out our blog for all the features on each cooler and more details of the challenge:

I think its important to lay out the cost at either the beginning or towards the because..
$300 for a 45 qt by Yeti
$170 for its 45 qt by Outdoor Revival
$180 for Cordova

For a result that is marginal across the three cooler, the Yeti charges nearly 2X the amount....

For myself, I purchased the Cordova 88 qt for $251.99 (On sale on website) and never looked back. Its locally made here in the US and the service support is top notch. Hard to get a 88 qt by Yeti for that kind of price.

Does Yeti support your values? That’s a serious question for someone who spends 2x the money.
