Blast from the Past - Natus Vincere vs Fnatic Dota 2

Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game developed and published by Valve. Dota 2 is played in matches between two teams of five players, with each team occupying and defending their own separate base on the map. Each of the ten players independently controls a powerful character, known as a "hero", who all have unique abilities and differing styles of play. During a match, players collect experience points and items for their heroes to successfully defeat the opposing team's heroes in player versus player combat. A team wins by being the first to destroy the other team's "Ancient", a large structure located within their base.

That was a rare breed of DotA altogether guys... Something we don't see today.

Makes me sad. Gameplay balance and snowball so bad for so long I don't think I've seen a base race, in a long time. Hell, this might be the last one I can remember. I wish they would just accept that large, sweeping, game defining patches as the only balance isn't working, and go back to tweaking someone armour by 1 point or STR gain by 0.2 every few days until things were perfect. Think about it; they used to have heroes that were basically the same for 6+ years, yet they would still change them 20+ times a month if they needed to. Now they'll drastically change 2 of a Heroes skills, swap out the other 2 with totally new ones, add 40 items and change fundamental game play .... and we're lucky if that gets 20 balance patches in a year.
